i ve been in the us since 2001 on a visitor visa that has expired many years ago.i got married two years ago and i am working currently.i wanted to know what would happen if i start the process of getting a green card?can i apply for the I-765 first and then the I 485 and will i be in trouble with the immigration by working with no work permit?can someone please give me some informations?i ll gladly appreciate it.
