how can anyone stay outside from usa with the status of green card.

Safely, less than 6 months.
Not so safely (must have evidence of residency in the USA) 6 to 12 months. This will most likely break your residency for naturalization purposes.
With a re-entry permit (after filing form I-131 and doing the Biometrics) for up to 2 years (minus 1 day). This will CERTAINLY break your residency for naturalization purposes.
Overall. A US Permanent Resident is supposed to reside in the USA permanently.
