  • Interview Next week.. do I need to take my wife

    Hi,

I have my GC through marriage and have my citizenship interview next week. Do I need to take my wife with me to the interview.

    Please suggest.

    Thanks
    Ram

No. Your citizenship has little to do with your wife. The only thing they are looking at is that you are still married and/or applying within the right timelines.

You dont have to take her... (except you need her just to accompany)

My wife and i had plans after the interview, so she waited in the car during my interview which took me less than 10 mins from entrance to exit (Philly DO) (marriage based)

During the interview, its you they need, your Passport, Your GC, your Drivers Lic and most times copy of Selective service proof of registration.

Also it wouldnt hurt, take copies of originals of document you submitted.
