Can anyone share their experiences with the NYC (federal plaza) field office?
How long since the interview until the oath letter was received?

Check my entry in the experience section,If you have any other questions feel free to contact me.After interview that told me to wait for my oath letter so I got my letter on the 16th and the oath was yesterday.But I overheard some uscis interviewer telling other people to wait for their oath letter in the mail.I think if they have all your record and all your record seems fine to them, they will tell you to wait for your oath letter.Best of Luck.Oath ceremony will be probably in 2 -3 weeks in NYC southern district court.I live in westchester but they r assigning every one to NYC court as that court has oath ceremony every friday so it speeds us the process.Best of Luck again........

It's been 2 weeks and still nothing in the mail...this makes me very tensed.

I did actually - their automated system, same as their online case status, has not been updated since May 2008. Their automated system even states that their customer representatives don't have any additional information. I still didn't try the option "to report a problrm with your case". I'll do that if I don't receive anything this week.

Yeah ...talk 2 some one there.I think the customer service rep use the same online case status system too so i m not sure if they will be able to help u much.But if u get some one nice enough to transfer u to a immigration office,I think he/she will give be able to give you a clearer picture.
