I'm planning on accepting a great offer in London. I have a US green card and have lived here for over 5 years since getting my green card. Can i apply for naturalization while I've applied for the re-entry permit? Any problems or concerns that you can think of if I do this?

I am still in the US but might be leaving soon (month or two) for another opportunity which is overseas. I was thinking of applying for Naturalization before leaving and since I will be coming back to the US frequently I was wondering if applying for Naturalization would cause any problems or not. The intent is to come back for any relevant processes i.e. fingerprinting, interviews et al.Originally posted by immihelpYou have to be here in the US to apply for naturalization.
