The fact that you lied on the visa application about your marital status itself will be a huge problem when you file for the GC.
USCIS may consider your marriage to be fraudulent as you said you were not married in the visa app even when you were. You have bigger problems to deal. Consult a good immigration attorney.

Did you know your wife before the came to the US? The INS might say that when you entered the US on a "temporary" basis, you lied as you knew that you were going to get married and stay - even though your entry was legal.
I'd seek a consultation with an immigration lawyer if I were you.
