Do i need to specify traffic ticket in N400?

Hi,

I got an lane voilation (used middle lane for line changing) ticket back in 2002 and paid the amount listed in the ticket. Do I need to say 'yes' for question 16 under Part 10 (question: Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer (including USCIS or former INS and military officers) for any reason?).

If I say 'yes', what details I need to provide? I dont remember the exact date I got the ticket.

Please advise me.

no you do not have to mention your trafice tickets. this question is only in you were involved in any crimnal offience like robary, murder or any fedaral offience.
This is just my opinion about this question.

According to my lawyer you have to mention on the form. Again it is different from state to state.
