Can someone please clarify what the following requirement exactly means ?
"Have you resided in the district/state in which you are applying for citizenship for the last three months"
Does this mean that you should have physically resided in the state for the last 3 months before applying ? or does it just mean that you had a residence in the state for the last 3 months.
More specifically, If I just arrived from India say after a 3 month vacation, assuming that I meet all the other citizenship requirements, can I apply for citizenship immediately or should I be waiting for 3 months before I can apply ?
