Citizenship Application Pending -interview passed

I have passed my citizenship interview on march23,2009. And, at the end of the interview, I was told that the case can not be approved because the fingerprints have not cleared. As soon as I get my fingerprinting clearance, I will be informed where should I take oath.

Does anyone know how long this wait can be?? IS there anyway to speed up this process?? Was thinking of taking appointment through US CIS Infopass. Does it really helps???

Also I am planning to travel to India in oct? Can we travel abroad or not??
