I don't think CA- Bayarea centers would allow Walk-ins since all the centers will be usually crowded always with GC applicants & other visa FP.

Saleen seems to be bit excited & pro-active about the N-400 process :-)

You are doing great to be proactive with the USCIS.

On your Fingerprints notice, the do specify a time,a date and a location. However depending on your location, you might be able to do a walk in. My Austin Application Support Center was almost empty and the staff there are very friendly. I choose to Just follow the instructions and went on my scheduled date. It took something like 15 mins and I was out of there!!

    Good luck!!

    Regarding the fingerprints appointment:
Do they specify the TIME you have to show up or do they just give you a date? Also, did you have to take a day off of work?

I am glad its delivered. I understand why you were worried. Dealing with USCIS is never easy.

Now, you will start worrying about receiving your NOA, then Fingerprints Notice e.t.c LOL.

It will be over soon. Wish you a smooth Journey!

    Best regards

I would miss out on a few weeks of processing time! However, I actually think the only option would be for them to pick it up because I just read that when you send something throught certified mail (as I did), someone must sign off for it. Can someone really sign off at a po box? Aren't po boxes located at an actual post office? Ugh! I don't know. I'll just keep checking next week. My packet hasn't even gotten to them and I'm already stressing! LOL
Dont stress over this. You will be fine!

USPS left a notice for USCIS to pick up the packet at the post office or call them so they can redeliver it. Will they really do that? Probably not, huh? I don't know what to do! Has anyone had this happen to them? What should I do?
Same thing happened to me sometimes ago. Yes, they will re-deliver. it will just take another day or so.

    good luck!
