I have a question about the OCI Application Process. Successful OCIs; pl. share your knowledge/experience so I and others may benefit.
In preparing my family-based application for OCI, I realized that while my wife and I can "self-attest" our supporting documents; what does one do about our kids' documents? (both are toddlers).
Per my mind, options would be:
1) Go to a notary and get dinged $5 for every document; or,
2) Mom or Dad "self-attests" kids' supporting documents; or,
3) Get kids' thumb-prints on each supporting document (dumb as it sounds)
I have written email to the Consulate in Houston, but am not expecting a reply. And yes, they never pick up the phone. Has anyone on this forum used options 2) or 3) successfully? Please let me know.
Thanks!
