i came to US by airport and seeking Asylum at the airport and detained by INS officer then send to detain camp i file the case finally my asylum was granted my question is do need to say YES or NO to question #16 Have you ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcemet officer?
In my asylum case i said i was arrested by my country army for being different race Can anyone help me thankyou

Question # 16...You were detained so you answer yes.
You were also arrested and you said that on your asylum case. Remember, they have your entire immigration file with them!!

Your asylum answer sounds very interesting. With your user id, sounds like u r from India & Im surprised to see that you got arrested by Indian army for ur race. So Unbelievable.
(If you are not, then u r just using some id which sounds like Indian).
