  • Oath Process at San Jose Center CA

    Hello,

I would like know recent Oath experience/process at San Jose CA Center like:

    1. How much time complete process took.
    2. What documents to carry
    3. Is cell phone allowed
    4. About surrendering Indian Passport, GC any other.
    5. Getting Citizenship Certificate..look for names, DOB any details accuracy.
    6. Applying US passport, there itself or in Post office etc.
    7. Dress code for men and women - is regular formal is fine

Any other details need to know and aware of ?

Also myself and my wife has two different times in morning and afternoon
(5 hours apart) on same day...Is there any way we can change to same time..if so how to do that.

    Appreciate all details.

Not only me, many people are looking for above answers in this forum...sharing your experience really useful for all of us.

    Thanks

    sapvij,
I think not that many people in Bay area are eligible for N-400 process yet. Only few of them who have obtained GC long back have applied for N-400. Other wise, most of them are still either on H1 visa or in the GC processing stage with their EAD.
