  • Citizenship civic test - can IO ask question in reverse way?

    Hello Poisontee, helpwithh1 & others,
You guys have already attended interview, so Please let us know your experience on this...
Recently I completed my FP & waiting for interview letter. Meanwhile, Im going through the civics test book & also watching videos of Citizenship civics test interviews on youtube. I'm quite surprised to see in the videos that IO officer can ask the civic test questions in reverse way...for example:-

    Book question:-
What is the supreme law of land? (The Constitution).

But in video, IO asks the same question as:-
    What is the constituation?

So, Can a IO ask the question in reverse way?, because we would have prepared for the test according to the pattern they have mentioned in the civics book. So, If an IO officer twists the same question, then we might not be able to answer it properly...Isn't it?,

Please tell us your experience on this.

    Thx
    Nags.

Based on my experience and what i have read, the IO prints a random 10 question from the 100 questions and asks them directly as in the booklet. questions you have seen on youtube might be from the old test!

If you study the booklet and listen to the new cd, you should be able to pass. All you need to answer correctly is 6 out of the 10. You will be fine.

    best regards,

Honestly the interview is not a big deal, i may have read the list of questions couple of times, did not listen to any CD either.
Be confident, read the list of questions few times and you will do well. Good luck
