Hi,
I am applying for citizenship for my mom. Main purpose is to have the convenience of travelling. My mom has been a permanent resident for 8 yrs. My dad never wanted to immigrate and hence kept his Indian citizenship. He has a multiple entry visitor-visa. Mom had been visiting India every year. We made sure her stay was less than 6 months each time.She is a dependent on our tax files. N400 application asks for spouse immigrant status. Will it be a problem getting her naturalized as her spouse is an Indian citizen ??
