  • interview experience"could not reach decision yet"

    i had my interview today..
    in Sacramento..
    put under oath
the officer went thru my N-400 information..all simple questions,(didnt need to explain or give extra information)..he asked me when is my date of birth...when i came to the usa...who petitiond me to come to the usa..when i moved to California ( i was in Ohio since 2004,i moved last sept to Ca)..very simple questions !it was smooth ..
then moved to the civics..answered 6 right questions..wrote a simple sentence, read one as well..
made me sign some papers and my photos..

finally he told me that i passed but could not reach a decision..they have to review my physical residency..
he checked the box that i passed my civics and english tests
and the other box that the decision could not be made, and wrote with his handwriting reviewing physical residency .....knowing that i made 6 trips out of the usa the longest was 5 months ,and when he reached this part during the interview he only asked me
"what was the purpose of the trips, coz i see some trips are like 3 months"
i said 'visiting my husband and relatives"
and thats it! he didnt ask for more details..or didnt say thats too much or showed any expressions that this is a big deal (#of trips and days spent out)

in the end i told him when i will expect the letter he said dont worry they dont like to keep my file for a long time..and that this is a routine thing ..they do review all files..

so now what do i have to worry ??is it normal!!
i saw some threads where people had same experience but didnt follow up with them...didnt know when they got the letter and were they approved or not..
please let me know what u think..especially the senior members..
    thank you in advance..

Sorry to hear about your interview...did you show him the proof that you were not out of US for more than 180days in a year? (best proof is stamp dates on passport).
Also, did you show him the evidence that you maintained your apt rent, pg&e bills etc... even during your your foreign trips?,
Also, did you show him the recent pg&e bills etc...to prove that you are actually living in ur current address (i,e, Sacramento)?,

    where is hubby...outside US?,

There could be many doubts inside his mind & as a result, he just did not decide today itself.

ABOVE ARE JUST MY OPINION. THEY COULD BE EVEN WRONG...
