Applying US citizenship while waiting relative priority date

To whom it may concern,

I have been a legal permanent resident here in the US since 2004. I filed a sponsorship, under unmarried child 21 older of permanent resident, 203 (a) (2) (B), to petition my daughter who is in the Philippines in September 2004 and got an approval notice on May 16, 2005. Her priority date is October 1, 2004.

My question is, what will happen if I file a citizenship while waiting for my daughter’s priority date to come? Is it advisable to do my citizenship now or will this make more years for my daughter to wait for her visa?
