Physical Presence condition for N-400 application

Hi all,

I'd like to request your opinion on the following:

I am GC holder since 2001 however due to few long term job assignment overseas I am trying to meet my 30month physical residency requirement. My question is that do i need to complete 30 month of presence before I send my application or I can apply 3 months in advance. As I reckon it will take atleast 3 months for my application to be adjuticated and by the team I am interviewed, I will have fulfilled my 30 months of stay here.

If I were you, I would wait because if they do not call you for an interview after verifying that you haven't finished the 30 month requirement. Since you have waited so long, couple of months won't hurt. Thats just my opinion.
