Can I travel aboard after summiting N400?

I have a green card and am going to apply for citizenship by filling in the N400.
However, I am planning to visit Hong Kong in the summer, so my question is, "can I leave the country after I summit the form while waiting for reply?"

Yes,
You can travel in and out of the country on your current passport and GC. Only the day you get sworn in to be USC, you would need US passport to travel.
A pending N400 has no bearing on one's travel.
