  • Interview is scheduled - Out of the country for *almost* 6 months

    Hello everyone!

I finally got my citizenship interview scheduled for the end of May. It happens that currently I am in France with my husband (I got my green card based on marriage), he got assigned here for 2 years. I got my travel document but I am worried that 5 months and some days (not quite 6 months yet) can affect my naturalization.

    1. Should I grab the evidence from my husband's work saying that he was sent there by his company and I accompany him?
    2. Should I bring the evidence that my husband still owns his house and we are planning to return? Or maybe bank statements showing that I haven't change my address?
    3. Total number of days that I have been abroad for the last 3 years is around 220 (7 months). The other "long" trip happened because I needed to change all my documents (new name after the marriage).
    4. Do I still have a chance to pass the interview?

    Thank you for your replies.
