  • Different addresses on I-130.. Help

I am a US Citizen, who graduated school one year ahead of my wife who is on an F-1 student visa, I moved back in with my parents after I graduated and she continues to live in her college apartment about 1 1/2 hours away from me. My question is I dont know what address to list on Q18 on the 1-130 form where it says, "address in the US where your relative plans to live" I cant list my parents address, because its not like she will be moving in when she graduates. Is it ok to keep two different addresses? the step by step instructions say it is best to show the same address. Or attach a document with a detailed explanation stating why the addresses show the two of you living separately. I do not have money for a lawyer so I dont want to have an issue with the paperwork. Thank you for your responses/advice.

Put the address you currently live at.

Both of you can always live somewhere else when the time comes.
