he has to wait until he turns 18 and file N-400
Thank you

Not true. If at any time after February 27, 2001, a permanent resident under 18 is living in the US in the legal and physical custody of a US citizen parent, he/she automatically becomes a US citizen under INA 320. It doesn't matter which order the conditions are satisfied in (whether the parent became a citizen before or after the child becomes a permanent resident). As long as there is a moment when they are all true, the person automatically becomes a US citizen.Originally posted by waa2100 View Post
Unfortunately You can’t file N-600, your son has to file N-400
This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

that's weird, the IO told me that I'm lucky because my daughter has a green card at the time I will get my Citizenship.

When we applied for the passport they wanned a custody letter from the mother which we send saying that the mother gives her permission that the son can live with the father ( me ) but they returned the documents after 3 months after we applied for a passport. so my son he is now 18 if we fill n600 does it have to me from me or from him ? or which one should we fill out which form?Originally posted by N400questions View PostJust to help people rapidly find the official information if they need it.
