Application Transfer after citizenship Interview

Good evening everyone!



I had my citizenship interview yesterday.

The Officer gave me the paper where he marked that I passed the tests and Decision can not be made yet

When I arrived home after the interview, the same day I checked my online account and the status was updated:

We transferred your application to another USCIS office for review

Has anyone experienced the same? [IMG]https://static.***********.com/images/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.png[/IMG] I am not sure why after my interview they transferred the application

I know that Atlanta has been transferring some cases to Montgomery Alabama recently.
However, I've not heard of any being transferred after the interview.
So sorry if this causes more delays for you.

This is so strange to me.
I read something like this happened to some one else.
I have no idea how long they are going to prolong this process now

I wonder if this also means that the Oath ceremony will be moved to the vicinity of the new office too?
I live just a few minutes from my local USCIS office.. I would not be a happy camper if I had to make a 6 hour round trip out of state because of something like this.
