What is the FBI tell # I can call just to be sure that my fingerprinting was cleared and sent to USCIS properly weeks ago when I had it done? Thanks.

Disregard the question - I found the number on an older thread. just called and they advised that my prints were accepted and sent back to USCIS the same day (Apr 16th)..
Just curious - 'sent back to USCIS', does that mean they send it along with whatever background report is required from the FBI or they just 'send it back' to acknowledge the identity of the person who did the fingerprinting, etc..

Yes, I got a LIVE person:-) You just have to listen to the prompts and choose the one that says something like "if you are checking on your fingerprinting status".Comment
