  • Atlanta oath ceremony cancelled due to covid 19

My application was approved, but then my ceremony was canceled due to COVID-19 on 3/27/2020. Now my online account says completion time in August 2021. Is there anybody from Atlanta that his/her ceremony was rescheduled after the cancellation?

I am also in Atlanta and my case was approved early April after I respond an RFE. My case completion date is also in August 2021. Weird.

Is it Aug 2020 or 2021 !? ( mine Estimated case completion time is July 2020 (2 months) from VA and waiting for ceremony )
I believe uscis will not schedule any ceremony until June 4 2020 and this could be extend to later time. After they start you could be in the beginning of waiting line. So stay safe and wait.

Good News for Atlanta oath ceremony! My ceremony was rescheduled for July 15. Message sent on June 30 via an online account.

USCIS is focusing on Oath ceremonies first. These could be smaller groups of ceremonies which is why its taking longer.
