Im helping my friend with her citizenship papers.
she has an arrest for petty theft which happened a few months after she got her conditional green card. She then applied for her permanent. Disclosed everything. No problem and got her LPR.
Arrest was 5 years and 6 months ago.
Her disposition from court (dismissed case) was literally 3 days before she applied for citizenship. So 4 years and 363 days.
however due to coronavirus, we have all been waiting for the offices to even open. She got the receipt letter that’s all.
do you guys think it’s a problem? It’s been more than 5 years now!
