Should I contact to find my status.

good morning Folks,

I had my interview (hartford-ct) in mid march and passed it without problem. the officer said that i should get a decision in mail in couple of weeks. He said, they are yet to do employment verification. its almost 4 months and have not recieved any letter from them.

what should I read out of it? Although I don't to bug them calling unneccesarily. I would like have suggestion/guidance from you folks. Also, if I should contact Homeland Security to enquire, how could I talk to a person. the number seems to put me on some sort of automated massegae all the time. Please help on how could I talk to a live person.

You should probably make an Info PASS Appointment and speak to immigration officer directly. Why would they be doing an employment verification? Were you sponsored for your Green Card through your employer?
