N400 Missed Appointment

Hi

I had to miss the appointment for N400 as I was out of US. My interview was scheduled for 7/12 but I left the country on 6/3 itself. I had to travel to India to look after my mother who recently underwent a surgery. I called USCIS Contact center immediately after the appointment notice and requested them to reschedule the appointment, they said they will create a Service Request and assigned a number. I checked my status online today and it says "Case Was Updated To Show That No One Appeared For In-Person Processing". Please advise the next steps. Thank you

The good news is that your case hasn’t been denied yet. Call USCIS. Say “info pass” and request a tier 2 officer call you to schedule your interview
