My husband have finally decided to go through with the naturalization process. He received his permanent residency in 2020 after only waiting 4 months after the application was turned in! I’m hoping that this time around goes just as fast. I will be documenting the journey here.
July 21, 2022: contacted attorney to begin naturalization paperwork
July 25, 2022: made payment to attorney for paperwork and attorney fees
July 28, 2022: attorney sent draft of naturalization application
September 6, 2022: case is being actively reviewed by USCIS
October 25, 2022: Interview Scheduled
November 1, 2022: received interview notice from attorney, appointment scheduled for November 29, 2022
November 29, 2022: Recommended that naturalization form be approved; Oath Ceremony will be scheduled, & Oath Ceremony Notice was mailed
