N400 Biometrics - will USCIS reuse what they have on file? Or do I have to retake?

For N400, I was wondering if USCIS will reuse my biometrics on file or will they need to schedule me to retake my biometrics?

I just submitted my N400 application - I will be traveling next month and will be away for a month. I’m a little worried that I will be scheduled for biometrics while I am away. Hopefully they will just use my biometrics on file?

If I get scheduled while I am away, is it possible to request to have my biometrics appointment rescheduled? What will the consequences be if I ask them to reschedule my biometrics appointment, if any?
