Naturalization without Selective Services

Hi,

I arrived in USA when I was six weeks short of the age 26, and by the time I found out that I needed to register for Selective Services it was too late. Is there anything I can do to still be eligible for naturalization after five years? Would sending a letter to the Selective Services organization be advisable?

wait an extra six weeks to apply for naturalization in order to put it outside your statutory period, then it will be irrelevant
