  • Continuous Residence vs Physical Residence

Eligibility criteria that I will be applying under: 3 year rule (Married to US Citizen who was naturalized more than 3 years ago)

Continuous residence doesn't mean physical residence right?

I have read the definitions on USCIS website and just wanted some confirmation to be double sure

When I apply, I will have met the crtieria of 18 months physical presence in the past 3 years & no visit outside of US for over 6 months. This should be fine right? I should be eligible to apply, right?

    Would appreciate some guidance, thanks!

Yes, it sounds like you are eligible. (You married your spouse more than 3 years ago, right?)

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
