I am applying to become US citizen. I submitted the form N400. I am applying based on marriage. I have several questions.

    1. how many income tax transcripts should be brought to the interview?
    2. I thought that by signing the N400 application we are authorizing USCIS to obtain tax records with the IRS, unless if I am wrong.
    3. I received the interview appointment with instructions on what to bring, I just need to bring what is indicating on the letter? I’m the letter it does not say anything about bringing any tax returns, unless because I already sent 3 years of transcripts when I submitted the N400 application?

please help me answer my doubts zz0.8hphb7kvkflzz

If i had already submitted them then I did not bring them to my interview, but made sure I had access to them in pdf format from my phone if needed. I did the previous 5 transcripts but that was mainly due to me having them at hand from previously submitting for removal of conditions. I WOULD DEFINITELY BRING THE MOST RECENT TAX RETURN IF YOU HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED IT.

    2. I am not sure but I believe it is our responsibility to collect and submit.

    3. Yeah I only brought what was required to the interview and that was all I was asked for!!

Good luck on your interview!! I am sure it will go great.
