Question abput your recent experiences at Philadelphia USCIS. I have my Naturalization interview scheduled for 8/14, however, the problem is that I have a pre-planned travel on 8/24 (arriving back in US 9/3), given this, questions for experienced folks here -

1. Is the oath ceromony held the same day at Philadelphia?
2. If not, what is the time between interview and oath ceromony?
3. Is it safe to travel during this period?
4. Any other pointers from your experiences - specifically at Philly USCIS?

In some cases, USCIS may give you the option to take the oath on the same day as your interview. If you arrange to take a “same- day” oath, USCIS will ask you to come back to the office later that day. At this time, you will take the oath and receive your Certificate of Naturalization.
