  • Passport application after naturalization

    Hi friends!
I got my certificate of naturalization after the oath and just submitted it with my passport application. However, I forget writing my signature on the certificate and also didn't take a picture of it.
    I am wondering:
    1. Will I be able to get another certificate if Department of State of USPS lost my certificate?
    2. Will they approve my passport application because I didn't really sign the certificate of naturalization?

    Thanks!

Worse case scenario is they reject the application and send everything back to you. I'm sure your certificate will be fine and they will send it back even if rejected.

Unfortunately if it is lost then you would have to pay for a replacement. But honestly I don't see that happening!
