I received my green card through EB1 and wife got her Green Card under the E19 category (Spouse of a priority worker classified as E11, E16, E12, E17, E13, or E18). Unfortunately, she was not able to file for citizenship since she was stuck outside the US for more than 1 year due to the pandemic.
However, now I am a US citizen and she has been in the US for 3 years now. Can she file as the spouse of US citizen, or will she have to have to wait for 1 more year to complete 4 years and 1 day requirement after more than 1 year of experience?
