N400 and change of address

Hi there. My mom decided to apply for Naturalization instead of renewing her green card that's expiring in September. However, she moved to California from Illinois in 2017 and forgot to change her address. Should she change her address first with USCIS before applying N400, will this affect her application? And does she need to wait 3 months before applying for N400 after changing her address? Does she need a lawyer?

Yes, she needs to change her address within 10 days of moving to another one. She been living in her new address since 2017, she doesn’t need to wait for 3 additional months.
