Applying for us citizenship under GENERAL PROVISION
currently married
filling out paper form ,requesting reduced fee (our income is under 400% of the federal poverty guidelines)

I just want to make sure are these the documents I need to include with application ...green card front and back, married certificate, income tax return for income verification, how many pages from income tax

My husband and I tried talking to someone on the phone and use uscis chat online, basically AI generated even if asked for live person, gave us a link to instructions that we already went through.

You are on the right track, just send a copy of your green card, marriage certificate and the first 2 pages of your tax return.
