Help with I-864
Hi, I am a UK citizen, married to a US native.
We are applying for my green card. My husband does not meet the financial requirements to be my sponsor, so we have a close friend who will be my second sponsor.
My question is how to fill out the I-864.
1. Do my husband and my sponsor fill out one I-864 form each? If so, which boxes do they check in part 1? (i.e., husband ticks box a and sponsor ticks box e - first/second sponsor?)
2. Or does only the sponsor fill it out? If so, what box do they tick in part 1?
