Federal shutdown

Hi,

I have an appointment for my fingerprints on Monday April 11, for naturalization. So I was wondering how the federal shutdown is going to affect me. Will the USCIS regional offices be closed? If closed, how can I get a new date, how soon?

I believe the USCIS offices will be open since they are funded by application fees. So you might be fine but I would suggest to call ahead and make sure that they are indeed open on your fingerprinting date.

If you search for "immigration" it says that this service is unaffected.
