Can asylee naturalized US Citizen travel back to his home country ???

I have a concern about US citizen traveling abroad. Follow the story:

Mr Abou DOA, Egypt citizen, was granted the asylum status in the US and cannot travel back to Egypt. He has adjusted his status to Lawful permanent resident. Today, Abou is a US Citizen through Naturalization and has a US passeport.

Here are the questions:

1- Can Mr Abou DOA, with a US passeport, travel back to Egypt as a simple visitor ?

If Yes, what Abou have to do before leaving the US ?
What has he to do once arrived in the Egypt in order to be protect pas the US authority in Egypt ?

The person can travel freely to Egypt as he is a US Citizen and holds a US Passport. He will not face any problem at the port of entry there.He just needs to ensure that he has the required visa to enter Egypt.If at all he plans to return to the US after a year or so, then he needs to get a permit for re-entry. He needs to get this before he leaves the US.

I am a little bit confused about your re-entry permit comment. He is a US Citizen, so there is no need for a re-entry permit. He just needs a valid US passport to return to the US.

Although you are an US citizen, you gained your citizenship through asylum! By traveling back home it could be suspicious to US immigration. I recommend you to consult a lawyer ( asylum expert) to make sure that you are not taking any risk. There will be a possibility such as political asylum in which the government you were persecuted is now changed, but still. I would advise a lawyer. Good luck to you.

Of course he can. First he will never be touched by Egyptian authorities since he uses another identity that is not on their system. even if they knew he is in the country, he has a US passport, which makes him immune "fact, not a law"!
Upon returning back, US officers do not ask citizens where are you coming from. they just let them go without as long as their passport is ok. immigration officers can return anybody home except an American citizen, simply because this is his home now.
