My husband and I got one sponsor the in the last minute, because one divorce, he can’t help us anymore. My question, my husband and I together make around 32k per yr, ( I forgot to say he is illegal) can mention this on immigration interview? I’m affray to lose him. He is my house big support, I’m on school and he takes care of 70% of my house hold expenses. (we don’t have kids)

We did taxes together last yr

We have interview on the 15-jully 2011….

    CAN ANY ONE HELP?

    I don’t have another sponsor…..

Do you have assets such savings or other that you can add to the 32K of your earnings to reach the guide lines? If not you have to find a sponsor. See your religious institution ( such church, mosque...), friends and other if they can help you with that! It does not matter if your husband is illegal as long as he files taxes every year with a valid social security number, his earnings can be counted in the sponsorship! Mostly, US spouses are forgiven for working with out permit or over stay! Good luck.
One more thing, "DO NOT LIE" to immigration officer, this is against the law and can hurt you in the process. Just give a true and precise response to each immigration officer question during the interview. If you are not sure about something, say you don't recall because that part of human nature ( forgetting). Your husband is illegal, immigration already knows that, so you just have to confirm when they ask! Please, share your experience with us on the forum if you don't mind! May God Help you in the process, and I wish you good luck again.

      Hello,

      Thanks for your response
Hi, I think that I was not really clear; we make together $32,000 per year. My husband work with his ITIM #, he doesn’t have SSC, or DL. I thought count when you do that things right like paying taxes and everything. Another thing he enter to UUS legally, he visa is already expired
