This is to advise you that. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the previously scheduled interview on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 for the above applicant. WE regret any inconvenience that may cause.
We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information under separate notice.
Has anybody experience this. My wife and I applied at the same time and I'm the only one that received this letter.

There can be many reasons like your file did not arrive on time or they have some staffing problems at your local USCIS office. I would wait for 2-3 weeks and if you do not hear back either call their 1-800 number and speak to a 2nd-tier officer or schedule an infopass appointment and talk to an agent in person.
