  • Multiple trips while outisde the US

Hello, This forum came as highly recommended and therefore decided to start seeking help here in regards of my citizenship application.

In the "trips outside the US" field, do i enter trips that i made while outside the states as separate entries/lines, or just use one entry for the trip from the time left the states to the time i come back to the states. I'm tempted to do the latter because the colum to what countries you traveled to, says "countries" rather than "country". On the other hand, I'm afraid if i do so, this does not give info on how much time i spent in each country while i was outisde the US.

So, what is the verdict? use separate line for every trip or lump them in one line.
    Thank you for your help

If you left the US and visited several countries on that trip prior to returning to the US then listing this trip on one line and entering the countries for that particular trip is the right thing to do, because it is a single trip and you went to multiple countries on that trip.

However, if you left the US for country X, then returned to the US and then left the US again for country Y, then those are two separate trips and must be listed on two lines.

So the rule is for each time you left and entered the US, use a single line and enter the country (or countries if at that trip you visited more than one country).

    Best of luck!
