Enter all information truthfully. They do a background check. Also, the officer goes over your N-400 form line-by-line during the interview.

I'vent heard of any background check related to job in this forum. Can you elaborate what kind of check is this? And point me to the thread which talks about this.

The background check is in general and includes all addresses, school and employment information.

Remember that when you sign your N-400 form you say that you disclosed everything truthfully.

Also, during the interview you will be under oath and you will be swearing to tell the truth.

The rule is: Never lie to the USCIS!

They will find out eventually and you will be in trouble afterwards. Even if your case is approved and you get your citizenship, they can take your citizenship back later once they find out that you did not tell the truth during your N-400 application.

You can google and find many cases where citizenships were taken back due to false information on N-400. So do not even think about it.

Rather than finding out for which areas background checks are done, it is safe to be truthful and avoid any form of guilt. If you are transparent in the information you provide in the application, it will be more easier for you during the interview.
