i'm applying for citizenship this week, I stayed outside US for more than 6 months (less than a year) so do I need to submit tax-papers only or something else needed to submit along with other N400 form.

i'm applying for citizenship this week, I stayed outside US for more than 6 months (less than a year) so do I need to submit tax-papers only or something else needed to submit along with other N400 form.

I would send both tax transcripts and copies of mortgage/lease payment stubs.

Also a cover letter explaining why you overstayed might help.

If they want more, they will ask you in the interview letter.
