For those trips you know you took but cannot remember the exact dates, make your best guess. You can write in parentheses (Estimated Dates) for those you are unsure about.Originally posted by pav82 View Posthello! i'm applying for citizenship and almost done with form N400 but I don't remember all the exact dates when I was out of the U.S. (for some of my trips to canada) So, should i just write the ones i know or what? thnx
If you cannot locate or read the entry/exit stamps in your passport, one other way of estimating your dates is to check with your credit card statements for example. The transactions that occurred in Canada should give a good idea for estimating the dates.

Do you have arrival/departure stamps on your passport(s)? Remember they will ask you to present all your old passports along with your current passport. I advise to go thru your passports again and write down in a matrix format the arrival/departure dates. I know there is no departure dates stamps at the US ports/border crossings etc but you will have for other countries you might have visited during the last 5 years including Canada I guess! Good luck.
