    Birth Certificate for my wife

    Hi,

    I can obtain birth certifcate for my wife from indian consulate in san francisco. Do it is mandatory my wife needs to be present in person over their or i can go and get the birth certificate on her behalf?

      As osweiti50 pointed out, only the consulate officers can answer your question. Call them and ask.
