online case status after interview

Hi All,

I had the interview 12 days ago. The interviewer told me that everything looks OK but he wants to check again the total time of physical presence again from my passport. He said this wouldn't case any delays etc and I'd receive the oath letter in few weeks.

My case status is still at the "Testing and Interview" state since then. Is it still possible that they do not update the case status regularly or should I assume that there might be a problem with my case?

No need to worry. The online status is very unreliable after the interview. I have been a US citizen now for over a year and my status still says "interview & testing"

So just relax. You should get your oath notice soon.

I just wanted to give an update. My status moved to the Oath Ceremony directly form Testing and Interview. I see this is the case for most of the applicants in 2012, so they might have improved the online system

Had a similar thing happen to me.

The IO first marked Congratulations etc.. on the 652, then used white-out to cover that and marked "uscis will convey decision by mail". The reason he gave was he needs to check the dates away and back in US. I had failed to report a border crossing going to Toronto.

Status changed to "In Oath Ceremony Que" over a weekend.
