Priority Date: Feb 24th 2012
Biometric appmt: March 27th 2012
RFE - Just a reminder to bring 2011 tax returns to interivew - letter received on May 7th 2012
Current status on USCIS website: On May 17th I was placed in line for interview scheduling.
Today when I am typing this post its August 17th 2012.
Is this normal, I feel I am waiting for interview date forever. Called USCIS customer service they said they can't do anything its the field office that has the control now.
Question: Is this normal waiting time? Or is it because Greer, SC is a farily new field office hence a bit delay (good thing is i've heard nothing but awesome things about the officers at this facility). SHOULD I get an infopass or that would be a waste in my case as (touchwood) there are not red-flags/issues or concern in my case?
Appreciate any guidance in this matter. Thanks.
